Two Gandharvas will reach the villages of potential risk in all 6 municipalities of the district and mix awareness message to the tune of the sarangi . For this, Thakur Gandharva and Begman Gandharva of Sandhikhark Municipality-9 have prepared a message song. Argha's Bal Bahadur Rayamazhi will support their melody and voice by playing Madal. They will spread the message through songs about how to prevent fire, the importance of forest and environment and how to control fire if it happens.
Mohan Shrestha, Head of Division Forest Office, said that the action plan related to fire control was approved by the meeting of District Disaster Management Committee on January 15th. "Publicity in the media, methods of fire control for community forest users, fire control tools have been provided to others including the security agencies," he said. Assistant Forest Officer and Information Officer Keshar Khadka said that 31 places including Barahnet, Kimdanda, Ratnamare, Lauri, Siddhara, Pakuri, Khairbatti, Bhedamare in the district are at risk of fire.
