Ravi Lamichhane, then Managing Director of Gorkha Media Network and President of RSVP, who was released from the Ruppandehi District Court on a bail of Rs 1 crore in the case of fraud and organized crime of Supreme Credit and Savings Co-operative Society, reached the High Court Butwal on Monday against the order of the district court. He is also understanding the date of Rupandehi District Court on Monday itself.

In case of fraud and organized crime of the Supreme Credit and Savings Cooperative Society of Butwal, the bench of Judge Pralhad Kumar Yogi of District Court Rupandehi ordered him to be released on a bond of Rs 10 crore based on the evidence obtained immediately in the cooperative fraud on January 13, saying that there was no reasonable basis to believe that the defendant (Lamichhane) had committed no crime. After 44 days of the

order, Lamichhane has reached to register number 73 in Tulsipur High Court Butwal bench against the order of the district court to release him on a bond of Rs. The district attorney's office has also appealed the case in the high court saying that the order to release Ravi on a bail of 1 crore is not appropriate and he should be kept in prison. His lawyer Pashupati Bhandari said that Lamichhane filed a petition in the Butwal bench of Tulsipur High Court saying that the order made by the district court should be cancelled.

Another defendant in the same Supreme Cooperative fraud case, Vice President and former DIG Chabilal Joshi of Gorkha Media Network was ordered to be detained by the bench of Rupandehi District Court Judge Vashishth Kumar Ghimire . He was jailed after the order. Chabilal appealed against the decision of the district court on January 30. The Butwal High Court had ordered to keep Joshi's appeal on hold. In court parlance, it means to submit the file of both such orders simultaneously after different orders against the defendants who have the same charges in the same case .

After filing a petition in the High Court, Lamichhane appeared in court on Monday to know the date of the same case for the first time . Court judge Yagya Murthy Gyawali said that the date of Ravi Lamichhane has arrived on Monday and he was present in the court to understand the same date. "He has already attended," he said.

The District Public Prosecutor's Office filed a supplementary case in the Rupandehi District Court on January 6 accusing 22 people including Lamichhane of Supreme Cooperative fraud and organized crime. In the case, 42 people including Geetendrababu (GB) Rai, Lamichhane claimed 555.59 million 83 thousand 842 rupees and 100.99 million bigo from Lamichhane, Chabilal Joshi and Lakshmi Prasad Paudel and 2 million bigo from Lamichhane's personal side.
