The police have seized 10 quintals of scented Kokila herbs while being illegally transported to India. Bardia police recovered the herb while patrolling Baghaiyatal Rural Municipality-2 Futaha.
Acting Information Officer of District Police Office, Bardia Police Inspector Krishna Dangi said that the herb is worth around 5 lakhs.
He was arrested on his way to the Indian border market Balaigaon via Futaha. He said that the smuggler ran away as soon as he saw the police.
