4 people have been arrested with 28 lakh 90 thousand rupees, whose source is not disclosed.
One thousand eight hundred Indian rupees 9 lakhs (Nepali 14 lakh 40 thousand) of Indian rupees 9 lakh (Nepali 14 lakh 40 thousand) have been recovered from Gobind Vick, aged 30 years of Sandhikhark municipality-5 of Arghakhanchi, who was staying suspiciously at around 3 o'clock on Thursday afternoon at the underground cloth warehouse of KC fancy store in Jitpur, Wanganga municipality-4 of the district.
Similarly, information officer DSP Mohanmani Adhikari of the district police office said that 1,450,000 Nepalese currency worth 1,294 and 312 worth 500 were seized from 38-year-old Somnath Kasoudhan of Mayadevi Rural Municipality-8 in Kapilvastu.
Vasant Kharel, 41, resident of Butwal sub-metropolitan city-16, and Sheshnarayan Giri, 42, resident of Kapilvastu municipality-11, who were with them, were also arrested.
All four people along with Nepali and Indian notes have been sent to Revenue Investigation Office Butwal for further investigation. The police team of EPR, which arrived after receiving a special information, recovered the amount of undisclosed source.
