Management and regulation should be completed within Chait 10
An agreement has been reached between some municipalities of Rupandehi to manage auto and e-rickshaws.
Janak Thapa, chief administrative officer of Siddharthnagar municipality informed that from the inter-municipal coordination meeting held in Siddharthnagar on Thursday, Siddharthnagar, Omasatia, Mayadevi, Siyari Rural Municipality and District Safety Committee decided to make e-rickshaw management effective.
According to him, rural municipalities that have not registered three-wheeled vehicles will have to work on the regulation, operation and management of three-wheeled vehicles.
According to the decision of the meeting held on January 13th, Thapa said that some rural municipalities have left some tasks such as law making within the specified time period. He said that since some of them are in the registration process after creating the law, it has been decided to complete the work within Chait 10 for the management and regulation of three-wheeled vehicles.
The meeting has also decided to entrust the District Police Office, Ward Police Office, District Traffic Police Office and Municipal Police to ensure regular inspection of vehicle documents from Chait 11, 2081 regarding the management and regulation of three-wheeled vehicles.
The chairman of the coordination meeting decided to take action according to the laws of the municipality in which the three-wheelers were investigated from Chait 11. Chief Istiaq Ahmed Khan said.
