One person died in a jeep accident in Malarani rural municipality-2 Kuvinde of the district. According to the police, the accident took place in a jeep numbered Lu 1 J 4226 which was coming from Butbal towards Malarani in Arghakhanchi.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Chakra Bahadur Malla said that 51-year-old Krishnalal Marasini of Malarani-2, who was seriously injured in the accident, died at Tamghas Hospital during treatment. 

The jeep has fallen off the road. Marasini was the only driver in the jeep. He said that the

incident is being investigated.
