The party president himself has issued an internal circular to ensure that the candidate of the National and Residential School Organization Nepal (PABSON) wins the 16th central convention to be held in Kathmandu on February 26 and 27. There is an election schedule for Pabson Convention on February 21.
Radhakrishna Kandel, president of UML Lumbini state, has issued an internal circular to make the party's official candidate, Tikaram Puri-led panel, win the Pabson convention.
President Kandel has issued a circular to the teachers through all the 12 UML district presidents of Lumbini province. Puri is also a UML leader from Morang in Koshi state. He is currently the outgoing chairman and advisor of Pabson.
In the circular sent by President Kandel on February 11th, it is mentioned that Pabson is an important organization with nationwide network. "Since Mr. Tikaram Puri is the candidate of the central president in the said convention, we request the district and Soma committees and related party lines to provide necessary coordination and support for the victory of the Tikaram Puri-led group," the circular said.
He has also mentioned in the letter the contact numbers of Lumbini State Office Secretary Krishna Khanal, Tikaram Puri, Bhoj Bahadur Shah and Parvati Rawal.
Lumbini Province Office Secretary of CPN-UML Krishna Khanal said that it is not a big issue for the party to make an internal circular to make its candidates win. Every party does this, it is done. It's a normal matter,' he said, 'it's just that the internal letter has been made public, there is no problem with the teachers who have faith in the party.'
Pabson said that teachers from other parties are also candidates and all the parties have issued similar circulars.
