Chief Minister of Lumbini Province, Chetnarayan Acharya, has expressed serious concern about the chaotic trend spreading on social media in the name of press freedom. He said that no one is allowed to spread chaos in the society.

Addressing the opening program of the second session of Press Chautari Lumbini Province Committee in Deukhuri on Saturday, he said that journalists should also be responsible for it. ``It is necessary to make social networks decent. No one is allowed to spread chaos,'' he said. It is necessary to get the attention of all parties, including journalists, to discourage such a trend.

Chief Minister Acharya has said that the state government is committed to empowering journalism and mass media. "When the government is making policies, rules and laws, it has been moving forward by discussing with the stakeholders," he said, "I am aware that some issues have been stopped now. We will move forward on the basis of common conclusions with the stakeholders of the journalism field.' About 200 representatives of Press Chautari Lumbini are participating in the

convention.
