In Rupandehi, a dead body of a person with severe head injuries was found. The body of 29-year-old Rakesh Singh Lodh of Mayadevi Rural Municipality-2 was found on Saturday morning.
Suraj Karki, DSP of District Prahari Office, said that he had a serious injury on his head. 'The body was found with head injuries. After we got the news in the morning, the police arrived at 7 o'clock,' he said.
The local residents said that they heard gunshots in the house in the morning. The deceased was living alone at home.
