Netra Prasad Acharya has been elected unopposed as the President of Siddhartha Industry and Commerce Association, Rupandehi. Most of the office bearers including the president have been elected unopposed.
In the nomination registration held on Friday for the session (election) of the association to be held on Saturday, February 24th, there was no opposition in other positions except the vice-president (commerce) and co-treasurer.
According to Chief Election Commissioner Shiv Prasad Gaudel, Netra Prasad Acharya has been elected as the president of the association, Dilip Prasad Kandu as the senior vice president, Rohit Kumar Agarwal as the vice president (corporate) and Govind Gyawali as the vice president (industry).
Similarly, Krishna Prasad Ghimire as Secretary General, Kamal Prasad Marasini as Treasurer and Mangal Bhandari as Secretary have been elected unopposed.
Pritam Rauniar as substantive member of Sangh, Bishnumaya Sharma as female industry member, Vikas Goenka as corporate member and Aprit Kumar Aggarwal were elected unopposed.
There are 3 nominations for one post of Vice President (Commerce). Among them are Yamakala Neupane, Deepak Kumar Poudel and Hari Bahadur Thapa. Similarly, the candidature of Sanjay Kumar Beriwal and Pallavi Neupane for co-treasurer .
There are 2 nominations for 1 female (commercial) member. In that position, Sunayana K.C. Giri and Meena Panthi have registered their candidature. Only Bishnu Maya Sharma Poudel has been nominated for member (female).
