The police have arrested an absconding defendant who was sentenced to imprisonment and fined eight years ago by the District Court, Bardia. The defendants in the Kath Chiran case who are on the fugitive list are invalid.
District Court, Bardia has sentenced Khushiram Tharu of Thakurbaba Municipality-2 Pratappur to three months imprisonment and a fine of Rs.
Tharu, who was absconding after being imprisoned and fined, was arrested from his own house, said District Police Office, Bardia Information Officer and DSP Rishi Ram Ghartimagar.
DSP Ghartimagar said that he was filed in District Court, Bardia on Tuesday for necessary action.
