Khim Bahadur Budha Magar, a 40-year-old resident of Triveni rural municipality-6 Thumka tol of West Rolpa, has been detained by the police on the charge of killing his wife by hitting her with a machete.
According to the police, after receiving information about the incident on Tuesday morning, the police team reached the scene and arrested the 32-year-old wife Asmita Budha involved in Magar's murder Khim Bahadur was arrested on the charge. The police investigation revealed that there was a wound on the neck of the deceased as if it had been beaten by a hawk.

Thumka is located near the local Kaulabot village. Locals said that Khim Bahadur's family had migrated from Otgaon on the border of Madi and Sukidah-Gangadev a few years ago.
