The police have arrested three fugitive defendants who were convicted and fined at different times by the Bardia district court. The defendants in the absconding list are theft, check dishonor and partial cases.

District Court Bardia sentenced Manish Rawal of Basgarhi Municipality-5 to 2 months imprisonment and a fine of Rs 3,000 in a theft case on 08 October 2018.

Likewise, Ram Bahadur Tharu of Basgadhi Municipality-3, who absconded ten years ago in the same case, has been arrested. He was fined 1 thousand 250 rupees by the court's decision on 07 June 2018. Likewise, Ganesh Bahadur Tharu of the same municipality was fined by the court on 080 November 17th in the check dishonor case.

District Police Office Bardia Information Officer and DSP Rishiram Ghartimagar said that the absconding three defendants were arrested and filed in court.
