The first Democratic Festival 2081 has started from Purvkhola Rural Municipality. Inaugurating the festival, Nepali Congress General Minister Gagan Thapa said that within the next 10 years, the speed of development should be increased by at least four times.

He said that the Panchayat had to waste the generation of 30 years unnecessarily and also said that the time was wasted due to violence and its management after the 50s.

At the festival held by the Purvkhola Village Working Committee on the occasion of Democracy Day, General Minister Thapa said, 'Nepal should use these 10 years to increase the speed of our development by at least four times.' He said that the time has come for the Congress to explain to all citizens to increase the standard of living by four times from the current level.

He alleged that the 1950s were spent cleaning up the piles of violence and the 1960s imposed by war. "The next decade of the 70's has passed during the construction of the constitution as well as its implementation," he said, "the next decade of the 80's means that the constitution, political, social and cultural rights are in hand." No more crying when there is peace and freedom. Now the development of the country and we have to improve ourselves.'

Stating that it is time to understand the importance of time and work to increase our standard of living, he said that it is not time to discuss 2084. Stating that the time has come for the Congress to understand what the current work is, leader Thapa emphasized that the mission should focus on quality education, health and employment. 

"There is no more time to make a constitution, to make a democratic movement or to bring in any other big achievements," he said, "That's why BP lasted 18 months, the government of 2048 lasted three years, and the government of 51 lasted 9 months." But an important achievement was achieved. He has made the government of that time proud.' Stating that there are 36 months left for the 2084 elections, General Minister Thapa emphasized that the Congress should work for prosperity in the next three years.
