The tiger was darted and captured near Ambasa of Thakurbaba Municipality, which is connected to the park.
A tiger that enters villages and eats quadrupeds, attacks and kills people, and injures them is said to be problematic. According to Ajit Tumphahamfe, head of the National Nature Conservation Fund, Bardia, the captured tiger is a female of about 3 years.
The tiger was kept in a cage in the park for a few days. As tigers kill quadrupeds in this area, it was darted (stunned) by deploying the technical teams of the park, National Nature Conservation Fund and Nepali Army.
