Two elephants have mysteriously died in Bardia within the last five days. An adult elephant was found dead on the border of Thakurbaba Municipality-3 Jharsaluwa Community Forest and Badka Community Forest.
According to the Division Forest Office, a male elephant about 30/35 years old was found dead. The head of forest office, Vijay Raj Subedi said that it is estimated that the elephant died about 4/5 days ago.
Now the postmortem of the elephant is being done. Earlier, only five days ago, an adult male elephant was found dead in the masuro field of Thakurbaba-4 Khailar on Saturday morning.
