The driver died when the tipper fell off the road near Ghartigaon in Madi Rural Municipality of Rolpa. According to the police, 36-year-old Jite Kumar, a resident of Bara District Nijgarh-5, the driver of tipper No. 8 B 7276, died on the spot in the accident on Wednesday afternoon.
The tipper used in the construction of Shaheed Marg fell down about 100 meters from the Chukbot road in Madi-4 Talabang. The tipper was going towards Bangkhola via Ghartigaon market. Police Inspector Devsingh Bhandari, Head of the Area Police Office at Ghartigaon, who reached for rescue and investigation after the incident, said that although the road was not narrow, the tipper accident happened from that place.
The police are investigating the accident further.
