The Lumbini state government has decided to end the fifth (winter) session of the state assembly. The government's meeting held on Tuesday decided to recommend to the state chief Krishna Bahadur Gharti Magar to end the session from Tuesday night.
With the government's decision, Chief Minister Krishna Bahadur Gharti sent a notice to the Chief Minister's Office of the end of the fifth session of the Provincial Assembly after 12 midnight on Tuesday, February 6, said Suresh Bhusal, the information officer of the Chief Minister's office. The fifth session started from December 16. Congress has passed two bills.
According to the Secretary of the State Assembly, Durbham Kumar Pun, 11 meetings have passed the Lumbini Research and Training Institute and the Financial Procedures and Financial Responsibility Bill. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli gave a special address at the 11th meeting of the convention on Monday.
