Police have arrested a person on the charge of raping a 19-year-old girl in Narainapur of Banke. Due to high blood pressure after the rape, the girl was taken to Bheri Hospital for treatment.
The police have arrested 45-year-old Jag Bahadur Teli of Narainapur-5 Sarvarajpur on the charge of forcing the girl.
According to the police, Teli raped the girl who was sitting outside the house and escaped by force. Based on the statement of the victim, Teli was arrested on Saturday after the incident, said Topendra Budhamgar, District Police Bhagwanpur Police Inspector.
'Immediately rescued the girl and took her to the hospital,' he said, 'immediately arresting the accused. We are investigating the incident further.'
A 14-year-old girl from Narainapur-4, Banke, who was returning home after watching the fair, was raped on the night of January 3.
