An old man died in an auto accident in Rolpa on Tuesday. On the Surpal-Liwang road section, while going towards Dharapani, the auto number RA 1 H 5491 went out of control and the accident happened around 3 pm on Tuesday.
In the accident, 65-year-old Indra Gharti, a local resident of the car, died on the spot. Two others are injured. 62 38-year-old Man Bahadur Periyar and the driver Manraj Nepali, 38, of Runtigadhi-1 were injured. They were treated at a local health institution.
The police said that the accident happened after the auto fell about 100 meters below the road. Police Inspector Rohit Kumar Shahi, Information Officer of District Police Office Rolpa, said that further investigation is being carried out on the incident.
