The dead body of 87-year-old Devilal Bhattarai of Hoongi, Rambha Rural Municipality-1, Palpa, was found on the banks of Kaligandaki river eight days after he disappeared from his home.
According to the police, the dead body was found on the banks of Kaligandaki river in Jagdighat, Chapakot municipality-8 of Syangja, about 15 km from the house. The body was found lying on the river bank.
After receiving the information, the police reached the spot, collected the bond and sent the body to Chapakot Hospital for post-mortem. But since the post-mortem could not be done there, the post-mortem was done at Rampur Hospital in Palpa and handed over to the relatives, informed the relative Pramod Aryal. The police said that further investigation is being conducted into the poison of the incident.
