In Tulsipur, a woman died after she was seriously injured by a fire that was ignited in her clothes while cooking.
64-year-old Ishwari Wali of Tulsipur sub-metropolitan city-19 Sangram died on Tuesday morning at Rapti Provincial Hospital, Tulsipur.
On the morning of January 21, Wali was injured when her clothes caught fire while cooking. After getting burnt from his stomach to his knees, he was taken to Lumbini Regional Hospital Butwal for further treatment after general treatment at Chinari Hospital, Tulsipur. From there he was referred to Kirtipur Burn Hospital Kathmandu.
As treatment was not possible even in Kirtipur, he was brought back to Rapti Provincial Hospital on Monday. Police Inspector Surya Bahadur Rana, spokesperson of Tulsipur area police office, informed that he died there on Tuesday morning.
