A woman died after being attacked by a leopard on Friday afternoon. The police said that the woman was attacked by a leopard while she was grazing her goats.
51-year-old Junakumari Lamichhane of Madhuvan Municipality-7 was attacked by a leopard, District Police Office, Bardia Information Officer and DSP Rishiram Gharti Magar said.
He died when he was brought to Gulria Hospital in critical condition. DSP Gharti Magar said that a leopard attacked the Nepal-India border to graze goats. Bardia Hospital Medical Superintendent Doctor Subhash Pandey said that he died before reaching the hospital.
