The police have arrested a fugitive defendant who was sentenced to imprisonment and fined by the court in the banking crime case.

District Police Office, Bardia Information Officer and DSP Rishiram Ghartimagar said that 24-year-old Shivshankar Yadav of Gulria Municipality-3 was arrested. Defendant Yadav, who was fined 780,000 rupees and sentenced to 20 days imprisonment by the District Court on 23 October 2080, absconded. The police said that Yadav, who was arrested while hiding in his house, was filed in the district court.
