Two absconding accused arrested

Banke police have arrested two fugitive accused from Nepalgunj. 23-year-old Jagat Singh Thakuri, a resident of Jajarkot Kushe Rural Municipality-8, and 50-year-old Rakesh Valmiki of Nepalgunj were arrested on Tuesday.

On 28 June 2081, at 10 o'clock in the night, Thakuri attacked Irsad Kawadia near Tanga station in Nepalgunj sub-metropolitan city. Thakuri was arrested from Nepalgunj guest house last night, while motorcyclist Valmiki, who was absconding in a motorcycle accident in Nepalgunj-11 on the night of January 19th, was arrested from his house, police spokesperson DSP Ayush Prasad Joshi said. 

While searching for the driver and the motorcycle who were absconding after the collision, the police recovered the motorcycle number 2 P 2958 from Nepalganj-7 Ranitalau while it was hidden. 

According to the information given by District Police Office Banke, 23-year-old Devnarayan Tharu of Rajapur Municipality-10 of Bardia died on Saturday night when two motorcycles collided on the road to Tribhuvan Chowk at Idgah Road, Nepalgunj-11. 

DSP Joshi, the police spokesman of District Police Office Banke, said that after two days, the police managed to arrest the driver and the motorcycle who fled after hitting Tharu Sawar Bhe 10 P 4341.
