Ward presidents of Kapilvastu municipality have submitted a memorandum to the district administration office demanding that the chief administrative officer be sent as soon as possible. 8 out of 12 ward presidents signed and submitted the memorandum to Acting Chief District Officer Parmanand Ghimire on Tuesday.

He has submitted a memorandum to the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration through the Administration Office saying that the absence of a chief administrative officer for the past two months has affected the work of development and construction.

In signing the memorandum, Ward no. 1 of Mohammad Zahid Kha, ward no. Ashok Kumar Gupta of 2, ward no. Rudra Bahadur Gayre of 3, ward no. Ramjit Prasad Kurmi of 6, ward no. Indramani Kurmi of 7, Ward no. Shivkumar Pandey of 8, Ward no. Mohanlal Sharma of 10 and ward no. Insan Ali Dhunia is 12 years old. 

In the absence of a chief administrative officer, development works in the city, distribution of social security allowances, salary facilities for teachers and employees, and plan implementation agreements have been completely stopped. It is mentioned in the memorandum that the local citizens, employees and stakeholders are also in trouble due to this.

Since the development and administrative work of the municipality has been affected, Ward President Mohammad Zahid said that the problem should be resolved by sending a new chief administrative officer immediately.
