The eighth day of the establishment of Lumbini province was celebrated on Monday. The establishment day was celebrated by organizing a joint program between the state government and the state assembly.
Tableaus of different communities were displayed in the main ceremony of the day organized in the Provincial Assembly premises Rapti Valley (Deukhuri). The works done by the government by keeping the stalls of the ministry have been publicized in the program. The speakers who spoke in the
program expressed the opinion that the rights given by the constitution should be fully implemented to strengthen and establish the province. They emphasized that the federal government should not delay in delegating powers to strengthen the provinces even if the federal governance system is implemented.
While inaugurating the Lumbini Province Foundation Day, Chief Minister Krishna Bahadur Gharti said that the federal government system is the government system that strengthens the people. He mentioned that the representative of the people is the servant of the people and expressed the opinion that no one is above the people. The people are our masters. We are servants,' he said, 'we must be accountable to the people.' "We have created 110 laws in 7 years," he said. 
He opined that the operations of the province can be made effective through cooperation with the federal government and coordination with the local level.
He said that different plans have been made based on location in the areas of infrastructure, education, health, water supply, bridge construction, agriculture, irrigation, production, employment, enterprise, and tourism.
Speaker Tularam Ghartimagar said that since the state level federalism is a new structure, it should be prioritized by everyone for its stability. Congress Parliamentary Party leader and former Chief Minister Dilli Bahadur Chaudhary said that the federal government should pay attention to empowering the provinces.
The leader of the opposition party and former Chief Minister Jokh Bahadur Mahara said that common commitment among all is necessary to achieve the goal of a prosperous province. Former Chief Minister Kul Prasad KC said that the state government needs to carry out more historic works to prove itself. UML Parliamentary Party Deputy Leader Bhoj Prasad Shrestha said that it is necessary to add more enthusiasm at the state level. 
11 different tableaus were displayed on the foundation day of the province . Among them, Sorathi Bhailo Jhanki of Arghakhanchi Shitganga Municipality was the first, Panchebaja Jhanki of Dang Garhwa was second, Jhumra Nach Rapti Rural Municipality and Kaharwa Nach Rajpur Rural Municipality won the third place. On the occasion of the establishment day of the province, the government has given a public holiday throughout the province on Monday.
