One person died after drowning in Babai river. District Police Office Khalatpur has informed that 78-year-old Kushal Khadka of Shantinagar rural municipality-6 drowned while crossing the Babai river on Sunday evening.

Khim Bahadur Khadka, Chief Police Inspector of Ela Police Office, Khalatpur, said that Khadka was found dead on the banks of Babai River located in Babai-7. He informed that Khadka drowned in the river after leaving the house to go to his daughter's house located in Babai-7.
