Minister of Social Development of Lumbini Province Janmjay Timilsina has said that future education should be technological and skill oriented.

Speaking at the 66th anniversary program of Shree Shanti Model Secondary School located in Tilottama-5, Rupandehi, he said that children's education cannot be developed with the old style of teaching while technology is teaching everything by leaps and bounds in the world. 

Saying that no child should be left out of the opportunity of education, he said that the day has come when teachers will learn technical skills and teach. "The provincial government is trying to make the education that every child needs to be practical," he said, "for that, it is necessary for every school to practice." Confidence will increase and life will be easier. Timilsina said that if schools here want to bring new plans and programs in coordination with the provincial government, they will always support them. He also said that children should be guided on the path of self-reliance by connecting education with learning skills. In the

program, Madhav Banjade, Head of Education Development and Coordination Unit Rupandehi, said that the management of Shanti Model Secondary School, which is in the leading position in Rupandehi, and the tireless efforts of the principal, are able to get excellent results by involving students in new activities. On the occasion of

anniversary, 50 teachers, staff, 1 retired teacher, 7 social workers, 19 excellent parents and 10 renewable funders who contributed to the wider development of the school were honored. Similarly, 56 students who passed class 12 from the school and succeeded in getting full scholarship for higher education studies this year were honored, 56 students who got 'A plus' in SEE and 39 students who got 'A plus' in class 12 were awarded.
