One person died in a road accident in Butwal. Police said that 72-year-old Dhan Bahadur Pun, who had settled in Gulmi and now lives in Butwal, died in a scooter accident at Rajarmag intersection in Butwal on Sunday afternoon.
The accident took place when the scooter No. Lu 94 P 8594, which was riding again, was hit by a truck No. Lu 2 B 886, which was going to Bhairawa from Butwal. He was seriously injured in the accident and died at Lumbini Regional Hospital Butwal during treatment.
The police have arrested the truck and the driver that hit.
