The construction of the shortest road connecting Rolpa headquarters Libang with Dang has been stalled for years. The length of the road from Libang to Ghorahi through Jedbang-Masina-Joulipokhari in Rolpa and Duikholi in Dang directly to the south is only 62 km.

From Libang to Ghorahi through Sahidmarg in the west, the means of transport has to cover about 90 km and 157 km through Pyuthan-Bhalubang in the east .

Due to the lack of construction of a short road connecting Libang and Ghorahi directly, there is a situation where vehicles have to travel a long distance . According to the businessmen, it will cost more time and fuel to transport the means of transport to Ghorahi through the neighboring district of Pyuthan.

Construction work is going on at different places of Shaheed Marg and the black road from Ghorahi to Holeri has been completely destroyed, so it is very difficult to get around. The means of transport from Libang to Pyuthan-Bhalubang to Dang's Ghorahi charge more fares as they have to cover a long distance. Although the road has been paved, the road widening work is going on in Pyuthan-Bhalubang section, but it is taking more time.

Yageshwar Acharya, an employee of Rolpa Jaljala Transport Pvt. Ltd., said, "This road is also old. As an alternative to this, there is no other separate road from Rolpa to Dang, so it is like a compulsion to go there.'

Another road with more investment in the district has not been constructed, so it is not possible to travel easily. On the other hand, since the Shahid Marg has been constructed to reach Thabang from Ghorahi to Holeri and Darbot, Ghartigaon, one has to make a detour to reach Libang.

Even though Libang is located in the central part, it is like a disaster because the martyr's route covers the western region and extends to the northern region. Therefore, many say that the shortest road to reach Ghorahi is Libang-Sallibot, Kochhap-Masina-Dhaulabang-Duikholi.

Former parliamentarian Lekhnath Acharya said that the plan years ago was stuck because the government did not prioritize it. "Since this road is the shortest, closest and most important, the government should build this road soon," he said. If this road is built, Rolpa Municipality, Runtigadhi Rural Municipality and Ghorahi Sub-Metropolitan Municipality of Dang will be directly connected by road.

If the construction of this road is completed, Dang will be connected with Swargadwari, Runti and Jaljala areas through tourism, according to Khum Bahadur Thapa, Ward President of Rolpa Municipality-1. He said that the road would be suitable for tourists who would go directly from Dang to Jaljala after crossing a short distance. The said road will also connect Thabang with a very short distance .

The road bridge is under construction in Madikhola between Madikhola and Kochhap. The initial construction of the road has been completed in various sections from Libang to Duikholi. Locals expect that it will be very easy to travel on the road if the road can be upgraded and blacked. Ward president Thapa said that crores of investments have been spent on that road repeatedly. He alleges that the budget is being spent without making road construction work a top priority.
