One person died in a tractor accident in Kaligandaki of Gulmi.
Police Assistant Inspector Kamal Prasad Banjade of Purtighat Police Station informed that 55-year-old local Dev Bahadur Vick, the co-driver, died when the tractor number LU3T 5112, which was going from Arbeni to Bisauna, met with an accident on the internal unpaved road section of Kaligandaki rural municipality-2 Bisauna.
When the tractor went out of control and fell 50/60 meters down the road, the co-driver was injured and the doctor declared him dead when he was taken to Galang Hospital in Syangja for treatment.
According to the police, the driver of the tractor is absconding and his name and address are yet to be revealed.
