One person died in Deukhuri on Friday after being hit by a vehicle. Ward Police Office Lamhi has informed that the deceased is 45-year-old Phulbari Chaudhary of Purandhara, Babai Rural Municipality-3.
Chaudhary was hit by a vehicle carrying chicken No. 3 Ch 3090 which was going from Satbaria to Lamhi in Lamhi Municipality-7, Kaptanganj.
When he came from Purandhara to his relative's house in Kaptanganj and was waiting for the bus to return home, the vehicle hit him.
62-year-old Phulpatia Chaudhary and 65-year-old Udesni Chaudhary of Lamhi Municipality-7 Naya Basti were injured in the collision. The driver of the vehicle, Devlal Choudhary, aged 39, a resident of Lamhi Municipality-6 Madhyanagar, has been detained by the police.
