Press Chautari Nepal Arghakhanchi awarded Kantipur worker Birendra KC. During his seventh district session, Chautari awarded him with Prakash Smriti Journalism Award-2081 on Thursday.

Basant Shrestha, district president of Press Chowtari, said that KC was honored for making important contributions in the field of information and communication by being active in the field of journalism for a long time. 

UML district president Pitambar Bhusal also awarded and honored former president of Journalist Federation Sobhakhar Panthi and station manager of Sandhikhark FM Shyam Ghimire along with KC.
