A person was arrested in Tulsipur on Saturday night on the charge of robbing a bank. Santosh Chaudhary, 27, of Tulsipur-18, Dudharash, was arrested while trying to steal NMB Bank located in Tulsipur sub-metropolitan city-5, the local police office informed.
Binodaraj Khatri, Police Inspector of Area Police Office Tulsipur, informed that Chaudhary was arrested after breaking the lock of the bank gate at 2 o'clock in the night.
The police team under the command of Khatri arrested Chaudhary with a lock-breaking hammer, chisel and pilas after receiving information that the bank had been robbed. He said that the scooter numbered Ra 5 P 979 that he was riding was also seized. Khatri informed that Chaudhary is under control and further investigation is underway.
