Socket bomb found in Rolpa

A socket bomb has been found in Dahban of Triveni Rural Municipality of West Rolpa. According to the police, a bomb was found in Triveni-2 Dahaban around 4:30 pm on Saturday.

The bomb was found while digging a septic tank inside the office area of ​​Road Department in Dahban. After the office staff reported that there was a bomb, a 7-member police investigation team and an investigation team of the Nepali Army, led by police inspector Saroj Prajapati from Holleri, reached the scene. A bomb disposal team of 5 people under the leadership of Ram Pratap Gaderi, a soldier of Rolpa Liwang, of the training center of Batuk Dal Gana, a temporary team of the army in Dahaban, has disposed of the bomb. 

The center in Dahaban had a cantonment of former Maoist fighters.
