His own son killed his father in Malika Rural Municipality of Gulmi. 29-year-old Dambar Bahadur Roka, a resident of Malika Rural Municipality-8, Kalimati, killed 60-year-old Lal Bahadur Roka, according to Marvhung police station.

Ward President Surya Bahadur Gisi said that Dumbar Bahadur confessed to the police and public representatives that he killed his father Lal Bahadur by consuming alcohol last night. He said that there is a father, mother and son in the family and Dumbar Bahadur killed the father on Monday evening when they all drank alcohol and had a fight. 

"After the fight, he has admitted that he hit his head with wood and after falling, stones and wood reached the ditch under the house," Marvung police station source says, "The body of the deceased is buried so that only the legs are visible." 

Locals have said that they used to drink alcohol and fight all the time and the murder happened on Monday. According to the locals, the mother received the old age allowance, the father received the disability allowance and the son also said that he drank because he brought money from his work.  The deceased's wife said that the son started beating his father and screamed at night, but no one came because the house was secluded.
