District Police Office Palpa has arrested a woman after two years on the charge of murdering an elderly woman. The woman arrested for the murder of 78-year-old Bhumkumari Ale of Ribdikot-5 Kusum Khola is 54-year-old Nira Kumari Lamtari of Harre Khark, Ribdikot Rural Municipality-5.

According to the police, he was arrested on 31 June 2079 for the murder of Ale, who went to look for firewood in the forest near her house.  Ale, who had gone to the forest to look for firewood, did not return home until evening, and while searching, Harre Khark was found dead in the forest, the family informed. 

According to the family, she went to the forest to look for firewood around 10 o'clock in the morning, but she did not return home until late in the evening. Information Officer and Deputy Superintendent of Police Sunil Malla informed that the police arrested Lamtari on the charge of being involved in the same incident and started further investigation.

Lamtari was arrested after the victim's family filed a complaint while the investigation has been going on for a long time. The local residents were claiming that the dead woman was murdered because of the injury on her forehead. The police said that further investigation is going on regarding the incident.
