The meeting of the Lumbini State Assembly will be held on Sunday

The third meeting of the fifth session of the Lumbini Provincial Assembly will be held on Sunday. The Secretary of the State Assembly, Durbham Kumar Pun, issued a notice on Thursday and informed that the meeting will be held on Sunday at 1 pm.

Earlier, the second meeting of the Provincial Assembly was held on 17th of January. In the second meeting, the bill to amend the Provincial Civil Service Act, 2080, which was sent back by the provincial chief Krishna Bahadur Gharti with a message, and the bill to regulate the formation, operation and conditions of service of the local civil service was passed. Speaker Tularam Gharti certified both the passed bills and sent them to the state chief on 19th of January. The third meeting of the provincial assembly has started after the confirmation by the provincial chief Gharti on 27th and 28th. 

Both bills were first passed by the fourth session of the Provincial Assembly on 27th and 31st August 2081. After the provincial chief Gharti sent back the message on October 22, it was again passed by the second meeting of the fifth session of the provincial assembly.

In the third meeting of the Provincial Assembly on Sunday, the possible agenda for discussing the bill to provide information about the Gender Equality Policy-2081 approved and implemented by the Council of Ministers meeting held on January 6, and the proposed agenda for discussion on the provincial financial procedure and financial responsibility bill submitted for discussion in the second meeting. The Secretary of the State Assembly, Durbar Kumar Pun said.
