A partner organization that has been providing shelter to women and girls affected by domestic and sexual violence has honored Rajya Lakshmi Rana, a donor who helped to build a shelter.

program, Kapilvastu Municipality Mayor Sudeep Paudel, United Nations Federal CID Committee member Rana, Central President of Saathi Institution, Kamleshasaran Chaudhary, President of Suddhodhan Rural Municipality, Chief District Officer Vishwaprakash Aryal and President of Journalists' Federation, Dilaram Bhusal, praised the donor's support in running the housing home. They also expressed their commitment to help.
Housing home coordinator Vimala Ghimire said that the housing home, which came into operation in the district in 2008, has provided shelter to more than 2,400 affected women and girls. It has also been providing assistance in the rescue and legal treatment of some affected women. It has also been supporting some of the affected girls for their upbringing and education.
