46-year-old Sita Gahatraj died on Saturday night after being hit by a force vehicle in Bandipokhara Samakot, Tansen municipality-11, Tansen-Tamghas road section.
While walking on the road, the force bus No. 2 B 5618, which was going from Tansen in Palpa to Gulmi, hit it, according to the Palpa District Police Office.
Gahatraj, who was seriously injured in the bus collision, was taken to Lumwini Medical College Prabhas for treatment. Gahatraj died during treatment.
Police Inspector of District Police Office Palpa Sandeep Belbase said that the police have taken control of the force bus and the driver and started further investigation into the incident.
