The police arrested 6 absconding defendants on the same day. The police team deputed from Ela police office, Mainapokhar and Dhodri arrested them.
Among those arrested are those who have been absconding after being sentenced to imprisonment and fines on different dates in the District Court, Bardia, and defendants in the drug case . Sikhni Tharuni of Baghaiyatal rural municipality-4 and Anju Tharu of the same place who were found guilty in part of the case by the court's decision on 20th of Kartik 079.
Similarly, in the same case, Sadir Ali Shesh of the said Rural Municipality-3 and Ramdhani Chamar alias Dhaniram of the same Rural Municipality-7 have also been arrested . The court sentenced Shesha on 9th January 2008 and Chamar was sentenced on 26th June 2008.
Similarly, Sujan Pun Magar of Badhaiyatal Rural Municipality-1 and Kishore of Madhuwan Municipality-4 are the absconding defendants in the drug case on June 3, 2008.
Information Officer and DSP Rishiram Gharti Magar of District Police Office, Bardia informed that they were arrested and produced in the district court.
