Bardghat municipality of West Nawalparasi has decided to close the schools operating within the municipality for three days due to cold wave and heat wave.

City chief Shambhulal Shrestha said that since the past three to four days, people's lives have been affected by the gusty winds and cold waves, and children are more affected.

The city has informed that the vacation was done under the provision of giving a situational vacation in the academic calendar set by the city.  There are 37 community and institutional schools in operation in Bardghat Municipality. The municipality has also requested to avoid cold and not to go out except for essential work.
