12 defendants who were sentenced to imprisonment at different times by the district court were arrested on Friday. According to the police, the arrested persons are absconding defendants in drug, check dishonor, indecent behavior, forgery, partial divorce and vehicular manslaughter cases.
Rishiram Gharti Magar, District Police Office, Bardia Information Officer and DSP Rishiram Gharti Magar said that Vikas Pun of the forgery case, Amir Khan of check dishonor, Rojan Puri of drug brown sugar, Prakash Sunar, five juveniles of indecent behavior, Bhavindrasingh Thakuri of partial divorce and one juvenile of vehicular homicide.
He said that the 12 arrested persons have been filed in the District Court, Bardia for necessary action.
