A modern water industry has come into operation in Gulmi. Pure drinking water 'Resunga Aqua' in Resunga Municipality-3 with an investment of nearly 2 million rupees has come to the market since Wednesday with the English New Year.

Three friends from Resunga municipality brought drinking water industry called Resunga Jal into operation. Santosh Kunwar of Resunga Municipality-3, ward no. Ramu Sharma of 6 and Ward no. Vishwas Pun of 2 processed and branded Resunga water and brought it to the market as 'Resunga Aqua'. Kunwar is a civil engineer and Sharma is a mechanical engineer while Pun is also a young person from the technical line.

Santosh Kunwar, president of Resunga Jal Pvt Ltd said that they have friends who have studied together up to secondary level and now they started water industry with the idea of doing some new work in their own place. "We are classmates in Reader's Public High School, and we, who are in different professions, decided to open a water industry while discussing whether we should do something informally or not in our own place," he said.

Although the industry was registered in June 2079, due to studies and other preparations, the establishment of the industry started only from May 2080. He said that after the establishment of the industry, after 4 months of testing, commercial production started on Wednesday. A fully automatic industry with a production capacity of 2,000 liters of water per hour has been installed in the

industry. But for now, they say that 1300 liters of water has been produced per hour. The industry has now started filling water in one liter and half liter bottles and large 20 liter jars and sending it to the market.

President Santosh says that since mineral water produced in Arghakhanchi, Ruppandehi, Palpa, Parbat and other districts is coming to Gulmi, now water produced in Gulmi is being delivered at a cheaper price than that. "Outside water is now sold in Gulmi at Rs. 180 to Rs. 200, but we have provided it at Rs. 160," he said. "The factory rate is even cheaper than that, we can provide Rs. Even though it is a challenge to run the water industry in break district, the operators believe that Resunga water will get a good market. "Migration and other social problems are a challenge," says Santosh, "but Resunga water has its own importance, and we believe that it will be successful if it is treated and marketed as spring water." According to the market sending industry. "We regularly check the minimum level test pH, temperature, hardness, TDS etc.," he said, "There is an arrangement to check from the government lab in Bhairahawa every three months."
