The driver died in a tipper accident in Satyavati Rural Municipality. The co-driver was injured.
According to the police, a tipper carrying ballast from Ridi and going to Purtighat at No. 5400 Lu 1 met with an accident on Friday night at Kaligandaki Corridor in Ward No. 2 Pahadi of Satyavati Rural Municipality.
accident Rajan Bhujel, Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Gulmi, said that the driver, 24-year-old Sriram Kumal of Rainadevi Rural Municipality-1, Palpa, died.
Kumal, who was injured in the tipper accident, was taken to the hospital for treatment, but the doctor declared him dead. 23-year-old Mohan Jaisi of Salyan Bangaon-7 sustained minor injuries in the accident.
The police said that the accident tipper fell down about 20 meters from the road.
