The police have arrested a defendant who is absconding in a drug case. According to the judgment of District Court, Bardia on 24th of August last year, Hasan Ansari, 37 years old of Madhuvan Municipality-6 Lalibazar, absconding defendant was sentenced to 9 months and 10 days imprisonment and a fine of 5,000 in the said case.

District Police Office, Bardia Information Officer and DSP Rishiram Ghartimar said that the arrested Ansari has been submitted to the court for necessary action.
