A woman has died after being hit by a pickup van in Tulsipur. Police inspector Prakash Thapa, information officer of Tulsipur area police office, said that the deceased was 50-year-old Lila Bhusal of Lamhi municipality-5.

Bhusal, who was riding the scooter, was injured when a pick-up van number RA 1 F 1300, which was going from Ghorahi to Tulsipur, hit a scooter number RA 7 P 1135 coming from the opposite direction at Tulsipur-7 Hattikhowa on Wednesday.

Thapa said that he died during treatment at Rapti Provincial Hospital Tulsipur on Wednesday evening. 27-year-old Nimlal Bhusal, son of the deceased scooter driver, was injured.
