The Lumbini state-level security conference has concluded with the main conclusion of solving the citizenship problem and controlling smuggling in the border area.

In the conference, which was conducted with the aim of reducing the security challenges of all 12 districts, activities of financial crimes, smuggling in the border area, cyber crime, the problem of citizenship distribution in Terai and hilly districts is acute and most of the participating chief district officials requested to find a way to solve the problem by making policy decisions from the Ministry of Home Affairs. are

The Chief District Officers, on the basis of custom in dual citizenship, add the sentence ``unidentified, missing and destitute'' for the citizenship issued in the mother's name, add ``mother'' or ``father'' between the words ``mother'' and ``father'' in citizenship based on birth, and the right to prove permanent residence. He has asked the Home Minister to make a policy decision on the arrangement to be given to local people's representatives. Similarly, regarding the issue of naturalized citizenship, since there is a provision to issue all other citizenships from the district, the Minister of Home Affairs asked the Prajias to arrange for the naturalized citizenship to be issued from the district as well. 

The home minister claimed that when sending the citizenship application to the center, the applications of those seeking citizenship were piled up in the center and there was a problem in their study and investigation. However, Prajaya said that there will be a problem regarding the conditions to be met when foreigners take naturalized citizenship and that there should be a policy decision from the center.  According to the

participants, the interior minister also gave strict instructions to the police and security chiefs to stop smuggling in the border area. Stating that after the increase in smuggling, the revenue leakage has also increased, the Minister of Home Affairs has instructed to work within the next 15 days to show a clear pattern of increase in revenue collection due to the control of smuggling. 

Similarly, in the conference, it was pointed out that control of criminal activities, road accidents, suicides, reduction of incidents of women and gender violence, economic crimes, cyber crimes, misappropriation of funds of cooperatives are increasing. In order to control and reduce it, it was discussed in the seminar about preparing a plan in coordination with the local government. 

Chief District Officers, Chiefs of Police and Chiefs of National Investigations of 12 districts of Lumbini Province participated in the conference which started from Tuesday in Bhairahawa. The seminar was inaugurated by the Minister of Home Affairs, Ramesh Akhtar. Home Minister Author himself participated in the meeting of Pragya and Security Chiefs.
