One person has died in Sainauna of Rupandehi. The deceased is 35-year-old Lakshmi Bhattarai of Saina Maina Municipality-6 Dudharaksha, informed Vijayraj Pandit, Head of Area Police Office Butwal.

On Saturday evening, at Sainamaina 6, Dudharaksha, a motorcycle numbered Lu 91 P 1184, which was going from Butwal to Kapilvastu, hit a scooter numbered Lu 30 P 3511, which was going from north to south.

Police chief Pandit said that scooter driver Bhattarai, who was seriously injured in the accident, died during treatment. Similarly, 21-year-old Dilip Tharu of Buddhabhumi Municipality-3 of Kapilvastu, the driver of the motorcycle, was injured in the accident.
